JAMMU, Feb 27: A farewell function was today organised at the Prisons Directorate, Jammu to bid farewell to Jagdish Kumar, Head Assistant on attaining superannuation.
DGP Prisons, J&K, V.K. Singh, DIG Prisons, Dr. M. S. Lone, Officers and staff of Prisons Department attended the function.
Jagdish Kumar shared his experience of working with the Prisons Department and thanked the Department for organising his farewell.
On the occasion, DGP Prisons congratulated the retiring official for his long service career of 39 years and spoke highly about his integrity and dedication. A memento was presented to the retiring official by the DGP Prisons.
