JAMMU, Feb 27: One day awareness/demonstration programme held at NCC Camping Ground Nagrota Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, ADGP.HG/CD & UTDRF J&K-Jammu, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP l/C DIG, HG/CD & UTDRF Jammu and under the supervision of Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. During the awareness Camp, the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, fire fighting along with demonstration was given to NCC Cadets at Nagrota by the Civil Defence Instructors/Team. While speaking on the occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu (Dy.SP), Shashi Thakur, Paramjitt Kumar, Chief Warden & Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden highlighted the role of Civil Defence and also shares their views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do's and Don'ts during manmade/natural disaster. |
