| Absconder arrested by police after 20 yrs | | |
Doda, Mar 11: In compliance to the Directions of IGP Jammu, SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed constituted team of police officials of Police Station Doda for arresting absconders.
In this regard necessary help was sought from cyber cell and location of accused was tracked which resulted in the arrest of accused namely Romesh kumar S/O Prem Nath R/O Pouni Reasi involved in Case FIR NO 64/2001 U/S 279/337/338 RPC PS Doda from Pouni area of District Reasi after a gap of 20 years and produced before Court. The arrest of accused was affected by police team of Police station Doda headed by HC Mohd Khan under the supervision of SHO Doda Inp Muneer Ahmed Dysp Hqr Manoj Kumar and SP Hqr Master Popsy.
