Over one dozen Saudi returned people kept in isolation

JAMMU, Mar 11: In order to keep a check on any possibilities that could lead to the spreadinn of Corona Virus, Kishtwar administration after constituting surveillance teams put over a dozen people including females and some children, who had returned from Umrah pilgrimage from Saudi Arabia under observation and put them in isolation at homes by advising them to follow the advisory and instructions issued by the Health Ministry.
As per the details available with Early Times, after arriving at Kishtwar, all the people who had arrived from Saudi Arab after performing pilgrimage had been put under immediate surveillance and were asked not to venture outside their homes and intimate the administration in case they develop any kind of symptoms.
Senior officials at Kishtwar told the Early Times that every precautionary measure is being taken to prevent the spread of the disease adding that the two German scientists who were put into isolation at a local hotel in Kishtwar outskirts were allowed to leave after they completed the required period of observance during which they did not develop any symptoms.
The officials further informed that several teams had been constituted to monitor the situation and advised the people not to believe in rumours.
Meanwhile, Kishtwar administration has ordered immediate closure of all private and government institutions besides also order for closure of all the gyms operational in district Kishtwar. In this regard two separate orders were issued by the District administration.
