JKWP celebrates holy in Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar 11: Centre for Inclusive and Sustainable Governance in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Workers Party (JKWP) celebrated holi in Gindun Park Rajbagh today.
They extended Holi greetings to the people of the country and wished for happy, prosperous and healthy life to everyone.
“Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs all are under one roof to celebrate the festival of colours and we are happy to see the communal harmony intact and we wish every countrymen on this special day occasion,” said Mir Junaid, President of Jammu Kashmir Workers Party.
In his message, Mir said that festivals observed in a country or society offset its culture and traditions. Holi is a festival of social equality, which removes social disparity and life’s monotony.
While expressing his joy over the celebrations of holi in Gindun Park Srinagar, Mir said, “This shows the unity and brotherhood that is alive in our Valley and I have a great pleasure to extend my greetings and good wishes.”
He further added that, “This festival of colours, brings joy, happiness and foster the spirit of unity and harmony amongst our citizens. This festival fills our lives with happiness and promote national integration.” added Mir.
While praying for the equality, Mir said that that the colours of Holi will remove all evils and create an atmosphere of equality and harmony. He urged people to observe this festival of harmony and friendship harmoniously.
