DC, District Sessions Judge visit Katra; inspects quarantine facilities

KATRA, Mar 15: Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib and District Sessions Judge Kamlesh Pandit today inspected quarantine facility in the district, here today.
During their visit to the quarantine facility, the officials also interacted with the quarantined people and enquired into their well being. They also directed the officials that all facilities should be made available to the quarantined people.
The quarantined comprising mostly of pilgrims expressed satisfaction over the facilities being provided by the district administration. The DC and the District Sessions Judge also appreciated th

cooperation from the quarantines for submitting self declaration forms.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner and District Sessions Judge visited the help desk at Railway Station Katra and interacted with the pilgrims there. They advised them to take precautionary measures and help in containing the spread of virus.
Speaking to media persons, the Deputy Commissioner briefed that proper arrangements are in place and with the active cooperation of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Indian Railways, Railway Police, district administration Reasi it would be ensured that evolving corona virus situation can be tackled effectively.
