JAMMU, Mar 20: A delegation of Federation of Industries (FOIJ) today called on Director Industries and Commerce and apprised her about the measures adopted by industrial sector of Jammu province from the protection of COVID-19.
The delegation was led by Lalit Mahajan, Co-Chairman FOIJ and was accompanied by Ajit Lal Bawa, President Kathua Industrial Unit Association, Sh. Sandeep Mittal, General Secretary, Kathua Industrial Unit Association, Vishal Aggarwal, Association of Industries Samba and other Members from Samba, Kathua and Bari Brahmana.
Mahajan briefed the Director, Industries & Commerce Jammu in the meeting that with the intervention of BBIA an isolation ward has been setup in ESI Hospital Bari Brahmana to provide necessary healthcare to any suspected industrial worker, removal of all eatable points at roadsides in the industrial complexes, thermal screening adopted by unit holders for their workers as well as visiting persons, truck drivers etc.
The General Manager, DIC's Jammu/Samba/Kathua and Udhampur were also present in the meeting and informed the Director Industries in respect to implementation of Advisories in the respective Industrial Estates.
