MC Kishtwar fumigate mosques ahead of Friday prayers

Jammu, Mar 20: In order to prevent the spread of Corona Virus and as a part of preventive measures, the officials of Municipal Committee Kishtwar today carried out disinfection drive against COVID-19 inside majority of the mosques in Kishtwar town ahead of the Friday prayers.
As per the details available with Early Times, the disinfectant drive was conducted by the officials of Municipal Council Kishtwar by Fogging, Fumigation and spraying of disinfectants inside the Jamia Masjid Kishtwar premises and other mosques ahead of today’s schedule Friday prayers beside also carried the similar exercise at DC office Kishtwar, Helipad and other crowded places.
The private vehicles within the premises of Mini Secretariat Kishtwar and across the district are also being disinfected in phased manner so that the spread of the corona virus could be contained effectively and efficiently. The process of sanitisation of door handles , knobs,tables and the frequent touching places were held by the volunteers of district Red Cross society Kishtwar beside directions was also passed to all the District officer to sanitize their offices and minimize the rush in offices to the extent possible.
The people at Jamia Masjid hails the efforts of the administration for taking effective measures to counter the growing threat of Coronavirus.
Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar Farooq Ahmed Kichloo during his Friday sermon also gives an elaborated sermon on the prevailing situation and called upon the people to cooperate with the administration by following the instructions and directions passed by it from time to time.
He also asked the people to stay inside until and unless they have some essential work.
