COVID-19: Keep hygiene levels up, stay calm: Aditi urges people

JAMMU, Mar 20: National President, Modi Shah Mission Organization, Aditi Sharma said the Central government and JK UT administration are taking all necessary measures to curb the spread of the outbreak, which has now been declared an epidemic in the Jammu and Kashmir. She appealed the general public for taking all the recommended precautions to combat the spread of the virus in the J&K.
“Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water, Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth, make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene and if you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early,” she appealed the general public while talking to media persons, here. “I would urge you all to keep your hygiene levels up and to stay calm. We will get through this together,” she said. She also appealed to LG G.C Murmu to extend the deadlines for filing a variety of taxes, and other documents of professional and educational besides water, electricity and phone bills that had been due March 31. The filing and payment periods for several types of taxes, including withholding taxes submitted by businesses, are also extended, she said.
