JKMEF appeal government to enhance retirement age of employees | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 20: J&K Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) has appealed the LG led administration to enhance the retirement age of employees to 62 years. A meeting of JKMEF was held under the chairmanship of state president Sushil Sudan. While taking serious note of the rumours of retirement age of 33/60 which are being posted in social media and even in section of news papers causing unrest among the employees, Sushil Sudan appealed LG, “If retirement age of consultant and faculty members is raised to 62 years than same gesture should be extended to the paramedical as well as technical staff as the Health & Medical education department is already facing acute shortage of such manpower.” In the meeting it was requested to the health authorities to provide sanitizers and masks to the employees who are on duties. Jarnail Singh Working President JKGPA, Pawan Jeet, President Staff Nurse Employee Association, Kamal Jit Sawhney Gen Secretary JKGPA beside others were present in the meeting.
