Jammu, Apr 4: Crime Branch Jammu put rigorous efforts against all odds of lockdown situation & produced preliminary charge-sheet against fraudster - Pawan Kumar S/O Surinder Kumar R/O H.No-730 lane No.03 Last Matadoor Stand Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu A/P H.No-328 Lane No.3 Lakshmi Nagar Bohri TalabTillo Jammu and Sarup Lal S/O Sh. Manga Ram R/O H.No-75 Ward No. 04 Rajiv Colony Bari-Brahmana, District Samba in record time of 58 days in case FIR No 11/2019 U/S 420, 465, 468, 471, 120B RPC P/S Crime Branch, Jammu for duping the unemployed youth fraudulently Rs. 12.00 lacs after inducing and luring them on the pretext of providing Govt. jobs in MES Hqrs Srinagar. The complaints were ultimately defrauded/ cheated after the appointment orders turned out to be fake. The case owes its origin to a communication received from SSP Jammu on a written complaint lodged by - (1) Makhan Singh S/O Munshi Ram R/O Village Batoli Patair Tehsil Billawer District Kathua A/P Dogra Hall Jammu(2) Ranjit Singh S/O Shamsher Singh R/O Tehsil Ramnagar District Udhampur (3) Sunil Singh S/O Padam Dev Singh R/O Ramnagar Dist. Udhampur and (4) Pardeep Kumar S/O Sham Lal R/O District Udhampur against the above accused for cheating them on the pretext of arranging Job. The omissions and commissions on the part of the accused prima facie constitute offences punishable under law and after getting approval from Crime HQ, a formal case was registered in Police Station, Crime Branch, Jammu against both the accused persons and the investigation set in motion. |
