11 persons quarantined in Poonch tested negative, sent back to homes | | | M S NAZKI Early Times Report
POONCH, Apr 9: At least eleven persons who were quarantined here in district Poonch have been tested negative. All these persons have been sent back to their homes with a direction that they should quarantine themselves in homes for next 14 days. These people were quarantined after they arrived here during the past two weeks. These people exhibited a positive attitude while spending their quarantine period and said the medical procedure was in their interest. “It’s good to learn that all the tests quarantined at different places have been found negative. Finally, I am leaving for the home and it is a big relief for me,” said a youth. Most of the people quarantined thanked District and Tehsil administration for the hospitality and proper facilities they were provided during the period of quarantine. “We got everything from the administration and we really thank them for the arrangements they had made for us,” a group of people outside the quarantine centre said. Administration had arranged vehicles for these people and they were ferried to their respective native places. BMO Mendhar Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan said that the people who were quarantined and whose tests turned negative have been sent back to their homes with a direction that they should quarantine themselves in their respective homes. “We have to break the chain and it is possible only when we maintain social distancing and stop coming out from our homes unnecessarily,” he said.
