| COVID-19: IGP Jammu visits twin district Poonch, Rajouri | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 13: To review the lockdown arrangements, the Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, Shri Mukesh Singh-IPS visited twin district Poonch and Rajouri this morning where he took stock of preparedness and measures to contain the spread of Virus . He also took stock of preventive measures being taken for the police personnel deployed at sensitive places.
He was accompanied by DIG of Police Poonch-Rajouri Range Vivek Gupta-IPS.
During his visit the IGP Jammu held meeting with senior Police /CAPF officers to review the Police preparedness to contain the spread of Corona-virus. He appreciated the role of every personnel of both districts for working day and night.
IGP Jammu stressed upon all the officers & Jawans to download ArogyaSetu App in their cell Phones for checking the risk factor of COVID-19 virus.
Later IGP Jammu reviewed the arrangements being made at quarantine centers. The district SSPs gave the detailed briefing to the IGP Jammu about the preparedness and measures taken against the fight of COVID 19 in their respective districts. |
