How we can defeat COVID-19 with our mind
Diksha Dogra4/13/2020 10:41:38 PM
COVID-19 is pandemic, which is causing more fear in people across the world. Number of cases across the globe crossed 1 million and deaths have been increased to 50,000 globally due to the outbreak of this disease. In India, we have over 3000 cases with 83 deaths. People are hiding their travel histories, their symptoms just because of the fear. Fear of death, fear of not getting cured and fear of how people will treat them. In fact, there are a lot of things which are going on in our minds right now. We very well know that doctors are working hard to cure patients diagnosed with COVID-19. There are few more things which we can do at own level to defeat this virus, in fact any disease.
Let's first ponder upon the hacks which people who are diagnosed with this virus or in quarantine.
Fear - Whether we believe or not, fear is assured in the mind of people who are either in quarantine or test positive with Corona Virus. But fear is just a state of mind. When we feel happy, everything seems good. Even when there is a problem, if something good happens we feel good, we go into the state of happiness, forgetting our problems and the same thing happened when we go into the state of fear. If there is a 50% chance of death, fear will make it more or maybe you will be dead. Many people even cancer patients survived after their last stages because they overcome their fears. They knew that fear has got nothing with it but undesirable results. Now you decide what you need. Do you want to suffer with this or want to come back in your life again as a fighter?
You can overcome your fear by going into the state of happiness. You can do it by reviving time when you were very happy, when you were with your family and friends. You can remember any time, any day when you were proud of yourself, your spouse, kids and feel happy. This is how you can come out the state of fear, stress and anxiety.
Gratitude: Once you are out of the fear state, feel gratitude of being alive.
Gratitude is a vaccine, an antitoxin and an antiseptic.
There is a story of father whose son was dying due to some severe disease. He once heard from his friend the power of gratitude and called him to know how he can do the same. His friend guided him and he started feeling gratitude for his son's health every day with a piece of rock in his hand. Slowly, his son started recovering and he realized how powerful this gratitude is. If he can so you can too. You can use below prayer for gratitude:
The gift of health is keeping me alive.
Affirm it again and again and feel happy for being alive. Being grateful for your health ensures that you will continue to receive more health to be grateful for.
Visualization: You can also use visualization once you feel gratitude. You can visualize yourself playing with your kid at your home or getting better day by day. You can visualize anything daily to feel better. Many people including super stars have used it and they know its power.
Taking care of your health physically is somehow easy but mentally it needs patience and time. When you can spend thousands on medicine, you can try this too which has got no price tags. I know you are afraid of losing everything you have but instead of thinking that, just spend 4-5 minutes on these things. You will start recovering, you yourself will notice a magical change as anyone in the state of happiness with the power of gratitude and visualization can come out of this COVID-19 outbreak.
We often go to different places, meet different people just to see if anyone can help you. You are even ready to spend thousands/lakhs on your health but the remedy which we are telling you is very simple. All you need is belief. Believe that you can fight with this disease. Believe that you can defeat this novel corona virus with your mind. Practice the given practices. It doesn't matter whether you are in hospital or not being able to move. All you need is to use your brain. Let your brain work in the given direction and see how you can come out of it.
Now people who are in their houses can do bunch of things at home. You should feel happy that are alive and with your family. Think about the people who are alone, whose family members are dead or in hospital. You should feel blessed that you got time for your family. You got time for yourself. When everything was normal, we were praying for this ME time, for this FAMILY time. Now you have got that. Utilize it. Spend time with your family. Brush up your skills. Do whatever that makes you happy. Feel gratitude for your health. Feel blessed for being alive and pray for those who are still suffering. It's the time to be together- not physically but mentally by praying for those who are suffering and helping those who need it.
