Udhampur, April 24: Senior Citizens Club Udhampur has taken a pledge that at this time in a war-torn situation, the section of the society, that has challenged like a soldier, the Corona epidemic and is providing selfless services are pin-pointed and honored to boost their morale. President of the Club Mahadeep Singh Jamwal gave this information while talking to journalists and said apart from Corona warriors, such as: administration, police force, journalists, health workers, people connected with essential services, volunteers, social organizations, we can easily feel that the people associated with the cleanliness campaign are also in the front line and worthy of honor at priority. A few days ago, senior citizens club Udhampur recognizing the services of permanent soldiers of sanitation (Safai Karamcharis) had honored some members of this class by floral showers and ‘Mudra Malas’. Appreciating the selfless services of the daily wage sanitation soldiers (Safai Karamcharis) of the same category, today, the club organized a function in their honor. Approximately 56 such daily wage employees were greeted with floral showers and were provided kits for personal hygiene and personal cleaning. Girdhari Lal, President ‘Safai Karmachari Union’ Udhampur and member Senior Citizens Club contributed especially towards this commemoration. The club likewise reiterated the commitment to honor across the sections of corona warriors in due course of time as and when restrictive orders are relaxed. The club’s General Secretary Raj Guru, Treasurer Mohan Singh and Kuldeep Kumar member were especially present on the occasion.
