| DDC Doda finalizes District Capex Plan 2020-21 | | | DODA, Apr 24: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today finalised the Capex budget plan of the district for the financial year 2020-21 amounting to Rs 236.39 crore. While finalising the capital expenditure plan, DDC informed that District Administration has laid special focus on improving the health infrastructure especially for the peripheral areas of the district like Gandoh, Thathri and Bhaderwah. DDC Informed that major portion of the plan of health sector has been proposed for purchasing of new machinery and equipments like ventilators and digital X-ray machine. DDC further informed that education sector is another area where district administration has diverted significant portion of the funds for new constructions and improvement in the existing infrastructure.
He said that district administration has also allocated equitable distribution of funds to all the areas of the district so that equitable development of all areas can be ensured. Besides that main thrust has been given to the completion of ongoing schemes in all the departments rather undertaking of the new works.
