 EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 28: Tawi Welfare Society distributed 100 kits of ration comprising of rice, flour, dal, oil, sugar, nutri, salt etc among the needy people of 26 villages of Tawi Island area. The main programmme was held at Apnavan Sure Chak where the chief guest Romesh Bakshi Tehsildar Mandal and guest of honour Parveen Kumari Numberdar distributed the ration among the 30 poor people of the nearby villages.
Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the Society at this juncture. He assured his full support in this noble cause. The remaining ration kits were provided to the needy at their door steps by the volunteers of the Society through their own vehicles. At this time the people were also guided about the precautions to be taken to protect them from the deadly coronavirus.
