REASI, Apr 28: In its continuous drive against the drug menace, police today arrested a drug peddler along with 300 grams of charas at Talwara near here.
A police party of Police Post Talwara was on patrolling duty near Siarh Baba Talwara, during patrolling intercepted one person who was trying to hide himself and ran away on seeing the police party. The said person was taken into custody and identified as Parvez Ahmed son of Mohd Qasim age about 28 years of Kanthly Tehsil Thuroo District Reasi. During his personal search 11 Chhallies of Charas weighing 300 gms were recovered. In this connection, case FIR No.44/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Reasi and investigation of the case is going on. |
