| Hooch recovered by police post Dhansal, one arrested | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 29: Police today arrested one person along with hooch at Dhansal. An information was received that three persons Raj Kumar alias Raju, Suram Singh alias Bittu and Shinder Singh all residents of Khirab (Judda-B) Tehsil Arnas District Reasi are into the business of manufacturing and selling of illicit liquor (hooch).
On this a Police Party from Police Post Dhansal led by SI Sunil Manhas conducted a raid and found the trio preparing hooch near their house in the nallah. They tried to flee but police was able to arrest Shinder Singh along with 5 litres of hooch. Police also recovered 70 litres of lahan which was destroyed on spot while still, apparatus, pipes etc were seized. In this regard a case FIR no. 30/2020 u/s 48(a)(e) 50 Excise Act stands registered in Police Station Arnas and investigation has been set into motion.
