KKHM demands enchancement of cash relief assistance for migrants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 29: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Mahasabha (KKHM) has expressed serious concern over delay in addressing various issue of relief holders (Kashmiri Migrants) who are reeling under pathetic condition from long period of time. Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan, president of the Mahasabha, said that present relief of the migrants is not sufficient to meet their day to day expenses in view of present price hike of commodities adding that the monthly cash relief assistance needs to be enhanced. Meanwhile Kashmiri Migrants have expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Relief Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrant T K Bhat including all frontline field staff who have taken round the clock initiatives and appropriate steps to fight against the spread of Coronavirus pandemic and ensuring timely measures during the lockdown including food distribution and provision of health services without any hindrance. |
