IAC holds meet, highlights demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 29: An emergency meeting of India Against Corruption Jammu unit was held at Migrants camp Jagti under the chairmanship of its coordinator Sunil Pandita and highlighted several demands pertaining to the KP community here today. He said due to present lockdown spraying with disinfectant and conducting sensitization in the camp was the need of hour for which Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner was urged to take necessary steps since last about 15 days but nothing was done in this regard . Moreover after issuance of repartriation of over staying JEs posted since over a decade in the Relief Organisation vide order No.9603-19 dated .31.03.20 in lieu of 7 JEs posted by Govt.was hailed by the community at that time and for his timely action the Relief Commissioner's action was appreciated on record to save the Department and migrants from the clutches of such over staying officials . Sunil also urged Relief Commissioner to streamline Engg.Wing of the department with replacement of blue eyed officials including thoseJEs who werr posted since 2005 in the Organization and were hobnobing their departure to their parent departments for the reasons best known to them . |
