| Deputy Mayor JMC receives face masks from GRAMIKSHA | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 4: GRAMIKSHA (NGO) today handed over 200 masks to Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC in the presence of Chairman Health and Sanitation, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Councilor Parmodh Kapahi, Commissioner Avny Lavasa Health Officer JMC Shamim Mir and CA Sanchit Agarwal and CA Nakul Saraf members of the GRAMIKSHA (NGO).
Purnima Sharma while appreciating the efforts of the NGO said that since the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Indian market has seen a huge surge in the prices of various face masks and hand sanitizers due to which many individuals are unable to procure them. She further said that it is duty of everyone of us to contribute in any possible way, but at the same time, she insisted that the biggest contribution will be not to venture out of our homes unnecessarily.
She simultaneously appealed to all for strictly adhering to the guidelines issued by the enforcement agencies to check the spread of Covid 19 (corona virus) infection.
