| Thousands of families at verge of starvation: Sharma | | |

Jammu, May 4: Suresh Sharma today said that due to non payment of salaries for the last two months more than 2500 families employees are at the verge of starvation. Due to lockdown and in spite clear direction by Prime Minister of India India present MD has failed to release salaries.
Sharma while addressing media persons expressed his pain and anguish that in spite of repeated requests for meeting there was no response from Rajbhavan. He while explaining said that GOI has repealed SFC Act. and future of more than one lakh familiy members of erstwhile SFC is uncertain. He asserted that act has been repealed in haste and on the analogy of other states of India where there are forest dev corporation s registered under coy Act.
