Annual Mindhal Yatra postponed

JAMMU, May 25: Aadi Shakti Devi Chandike Sevak Sanstha (ASDCSS) Blassu, Doda has decided to postpone the annual Mindhal yatra, which was to be commenced from June 1.
Prof Daljeet Singh Manhas, president, ASDCSS Blassu, Doda J&K, telephonically discussed with the authorities including District Development Commissioner Chamba HP, District administration Kishtwar, Man Singh Thakurwan, Pradhan Panch Praja Mindhal Mata Committee, Pangi H.P and other quarters regarding conduct of this year’s Mindhal Yatra. He informed that after conversation with all including Executive Body of ASDCSS, Blassu, Doda, J&K it has been decided to postpone the Annual Mindhal Mata Chhari Yatra scheduled to be held w.e.f June 1 to 6 till further course of action. The decision has been taken following Government directive to continue restriction enforced on all kinds of religious gatherings/performances in view of COVID-19 pandemic, till May 31.
Prof Manhas, appealed all devotees of Maa Chandi in general and Maa Sevaks who make Bhandara (Langar) and other arrangements in particular to wait for further Government directions in this regard.
