Rohit Kansal inspects JPDCL data recovery/ call centre at Gladni

JAMMU, May 26: Principal Secretary Power Development Department, Rohit Kansal today inspected data recovery/ call centre of Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), here at Gladni. He was accompanied by Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Yasha Mudhgal, Chief Engineer JPDCL, Gurmeet Singh and other senior officers of the concerned department. Managing Director, JPDCL briefed the working of data recovery/ call centre and informed that various complaint calls regarding power shutdown, billing and generation of OTP of Consumers are being received here. After receiving calls the complaints are forwarded to duty officials for resolving the issues of consumers at the earliest.
Kansal expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the centres and advised the officers to further gear up their efforts to reach out each and every consumer. The Principal Secretary directed the officers to take more innovative steps for resolving issues of the consumers and upgrading call centre/ data recovery centre with modern techniques. He also asked them to ensure 100% e-distribution of electricity bills to consumers.
