| All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha observes Bhagat Amarnath’s Shaheedi Divas | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 1: The All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha today observed 50th Shaheedi Divas of Bhagat Amarnath at Kabir Bhawan, Bishnah. Due to the COVID-19 advisory, a small gathering assembled at Kabir Bhawan to observe this day. The president of the Sabha, F C Bhagat recalled Bhagat Amarnath as icon of the society and 2nd Ambedkar in India and said that had he not made the supreme sacrifice, there would have been no progress of society. He further said that whatever our society has progressed till date, it was only due to the efforts of the people like Bhagat Amarnath and those who have benefited from reservation, it is there moral duty to save the right of reservation so that these rights should percolate down to the last and left out man of the society.
The Sabha thereafter appealed to the society at large that during current year due to COVID-19, the Sabha and its units at Distt/Tehsil/Block shall observe this day preferably at home or at safer places.
