| Lecturers’ Forum demands filling up of all administrative vacant posts | | |

Jammu, Jun 1: A meeting of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum was held through teleconferencing under the chairmanship of its president Deepak Sharma wherein the forum demanded filling up of all administrative posts lying vacant in School Education Department immediately for the smooth functioning of Department as number of posts of Joint Directors including that of Principal SIE Jammu as well as SIE Kashmir, CEOs, DIET Principals and Principals of Higher Secondary Schools are lying vacant in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sharma said that more than 150 Higher secondary schools are lying headless due to which implementation of various initiatives taken by the department in the interest of students amid Covid-19 is not hassle-free. He said that in most of the cases, a single Principal is holding the charge of a number of schools and thus finding it difficult to do justice especially due to prevailing Lock Down. The forum demanded immediate filling up of all the vacant posts of Principals. |
