JAMMU, June 1: Nat Manch has demanded provision of financial assistance to Priests, Imams, Granthis and Fathers. Nat Manch President Tarun Sharma said that today the temples, mosques, gurdwaras and churches are closed due to the lock down throughout India. There are no religious rituals, due to which the priests of the temple, the imams of the mosques, the granthis of the gurdwaras and the fathers of the churches have suffered financially. He said that due to Covid-19, livelihood of all of them has taken a severe hit, therefore it is demanded from the Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Girish Chandra Murmu to provide financial assistance to the priests, imams, granthis and fathers in the same way as given to the poor people. |
