| Bhagat Mahasabha celebrates Prakash Utsav of Sant Kabir | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 6: Bhagat Mahasabha J&K unit celebrates 622th Prakash Utsav of revolutionary Sant Kabir at Prem Resort Jammu. All SoPs issued by UT administration and social distancing were followed during the function, also permission was sought from district administration.
Keeping in view the Corona pendmic only office bearers and block committee members of Sabha could attend the function. Mahinder Bhagat president of Sabha spoke on the occasion and said Kabir’s writings have been a great source of inspiration to the people of different faiths. Er. Pawan Bhagat (Chairman Bhagat Mahasabha) said that Kabir is a champion of bhakti movement who shared his knowledge with all regardless of faith or caste of his followers. Bodh Raj Bhagat appealed the UT administration for sanctioning gazetted holiday on Kabir Jayanti and restoration of reservation in promotion. |
