DB directs authorities to ensure no starvation of animals 6/6/2020 9:56:01 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 6: Taking cognizance of the death of nine horses in Katra from starvation, a Division Bench of J&K High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Rajneesh Oswal issued notice to Deputy Commissioner Reasi and directed status report setting out action, if any, shall be filed. Division Bench also issued notice to the Secretary, Department of Sheep & Animal Husbandry, UT of Jammu and Kashmir to immediately examine the issue pointed out and ensure that no animal goes hungry and to file response thereto.
