JKCCA to hold online international art exhibition

JAMMU, June 6: Keeping in tune with the crisis of Covid-19 pandemic, an online meeting of the Executive Committee of Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu was held under the chairmanship of Kewal K Sharma, President, JKCCA.
The other office bearers and members of JKCCA who attended the meeting included D P Abrol, Vice- President, Sahil Bhardwaj, General Secretary, O P Sharma, Director, Anita Sharma, Cashier, Ravi Kumar, Jaswant Singh Bimala Sharma, members of JKCCA.
It was decided in the meeting that JKCCA will organize online international art exhibition in the month of June, 2020 for which the preparations have already been made.
Keeping in view the present situation of Covid- 19 pandemic, it was decided that art, culture and literary activities would be conducted online during the year 2020-21 or till the situation returns to normalcy. It was also decided that JCCA will organize state, national and international art exhibitions, artist camps/ workshops and solo- shows of veteran and senior artists of the country. JKCCA will also organize online Seminars/ Webnars, Kavi Sammelans and music programmes among other activities.
In the meeting the President appointed 20 consultants of JKCCA for the year 2020- 21.
These consultants are taken out of the well-known social workers, art promoters, eminent and senior artists from different state of the country and working in the field of visual, performing and literary arts.
