JAMMU, June 6: Department of Zoology, G.G.M. Science College organised a National level Online quiz competition with the theme “Animals and their relationships with the surroundings” on World Environment Day with the aim to sensitize the students across the country about the importance of conserving and preserving the nature and natural resources. More than 500 students from Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh participated in the event. 50 percent was fixed as pass percentage criterion. Only 177 participants got through the quiz. Seven participants shared Ist position by securing 80 percent marks, nine participants shared IInd position by securing 75 percent marks and 12 participants secured IIIrd Position. |
