70 COVID-19 hygiene kits, saplings distributed at Prem Nagar

JAMMU, June 27: We The Human Forum for Nature and Mankind, today, distributed 70 COVID19 Hygiene kits and saplings among families of mostly Safai Karamcharis here today at Prem Nagar. Apart from Retd Principal District Session Judge K Y S Manhas Chairman of We The Human, K K Sharma Chairman Editorial Board, Pavitra Panth Office Secretary of We The Human, DFO Jammu Urban Sunil Singh, Range Officers Rakesh Verma and S S Slathia, Father Kuriakose were present on this occasion. Today's COVID-19 kits comprised of sanitizers, disinfectant soaps, detergent soaps, reusable clothes facemasks, ORS sachets and sanitary pads. K Y S Manhas Chairman of the trust informed that the trust distributed around 125 qtls of ration among families in distress during the lock down period. After that, the trust undertook job for spreading awareness about personal and hands hygiene, environment as well distribution of COVID-19 hygiene kits along with saplings.
This all could be possible due to personal contributions made by members of the trust and guidance & coordination extended by the office of SSP Jammu Sridhar Patil, he added. The Retd Director Floriculture K K Sharma Chairman Editorial Board of the trust exhorted people to plant more trees and make use of Indian Ayurveda specified immunity boosters like Geloy, Tulsi, Neem and Turmeric to avoid exposure to COVID-19 virus infection. DFO Jammu Urban appreciated efforts being put in by the trust in making large scale plantation and making people aware about environment.
