JPPF demands to open temples and other religious places | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 29: Jammu Province People’s Forum (JPPF) had demanded the opening of all religious places immediately for the public. Addressing media persons, M S Katoch the working President of the Forum said that deputations of peoples met the forum officials to take up this issue with the authorities to allow all religious places to function immediately. He further added that Saints and Pujaries of many temples are annoyed on account of closures of places of worships for such a long time on one hand and on the other nobody from Govt. enquired about the welfare of the managerial staff of many religious places who were totally dependent on these places of worship, closure of temples has forced them to live in measurable conditions even many other vendors around places of worships are passing through many hardships therefore we the members of JPPF request Govt. to ensure opening of all religious places without any fail during second un- lockdown. Katoch further added that religious places are the places where people go and pray to god for their well being and is matter of faith too, but now for more than 3 months same have been closed and should be opened without any further delay.
