14 fresh positive, 595 active positive cases, 22 recovered and 21 deaths so far in north Kashmir

BARAMULLA, June 29: Out of 144, Fourteen fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 595 active positive cases, 1643 are cumulative, 22 recovered and 21 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir till date.
According to the district wise positive cases as on June 29, 2020 (Monday), In Baramulla district, 10 fresh positive cases including 01 travelers and 09 others were reported today, there has been an increase in the cumulative cases that have gone up to 816, and also an increase in the active positive cases that stands at 420, and cumulative recovered cases are 381 including 06 as on date, while 15 deaths have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 02 fresh positive cases have been reported today, while there is an increase with 536 that are cumulative cases, 140 are active positive cases, 11 have recovered as on date, and 05 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 02 fresh positive cases including 01 each as traveler and others were reported today, whereas 291 are cumulative cases, 35 are active positive, 05 have recovered as on date and 01 death have occurred so far.
Meanwhile, there are reports from Kupwara district where district administration Kupwara today launched a 3 days First Aid Training Programme organized by Indian Red Cross Society Kupwara.
The programme that commenced today was attended by 30 volunteers from AMT School, BHSS Kupwara and different educational institutions.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone interacted with the volunteers and emphasized their role in contributing towards the welfare of poor and needy people especially in present distressed situations.
The ADC briefed the participants about various ways of contributing towards the wellbeing of the society and instructed them to be mentally prepared to help people in difficult times and expressed his best wishes for their noble mission.
Meanwhile, Mudasir Ahmad, Trainer, RCS Kupwara apprised the participants about functioning and role of Red Cross Society in the district, he also taught them various ways of participating and contributing as a Red Cross volunteer.
