United Schools Organization formed to address issues of pvt schools | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 30: A joint meeting of the representatives of Private schools affiliated to CBSE and JKBOSE was organized here today to deliberate on the issues being faced by private schools as a result of various orders/ advisories issued by the J&K Government. It was discussed that despite the orders issued parents are reluctant to pay fee to the schools. On the other hand all the schools are conducting online classes for the students even though there are numerous connectivity issues. Showing anguish, the members said that due to the repeated unwanted letters and advisories for the Private schools of Jammu division by the education department, even those parents who are employed in government/semi government sector or parents who have been running shops of essential commodities and opened their businesses in “Unlock 1.0” have not paid any heed to deposit tuition fee till now. This has led to situation of total chaos and if not addressed on priority, it will lead to the collapse of the private education system in the state.
