| GDC Paloura organizes national level online poster making competition | | |

JAMMU, June 30: Government Degree College Jammu City Paloura (Mishriwala), Jammu organized an Online Poster Making Competition on the eve of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking under the supervision of Principal Prof Ramneek Kaur and Prof Narayan Dutt convener of the competition. The competition was organized by NSS Programme officer Dr Sanjay Kapoor (Assistant Prof Chemistry) and Prof Amit Sanotra (Department of Computer) of the college. The motive of the competition was to aware the young students about the dangers of drug abuse and bring awareness to people on how to deal with it.
Students from various colleges took part in the competition. The jury comprised of Prof RK Bamezai (HOD Chemistry Department, University of Jammu), Dr Rama Badyal (HOD Psychology, Govt College for Women Gandhi Nagar, Jammu) who declared results of the competition. The first position was bagged by Kalpana Yadav of GDC Paloura; second position was secured by Vijay Kumar of GCET, Jammu while the third position was bagged by Deepika Sharma of Govt MAM College Jammu. Geetanjali Sharma of KC College of Education and Imtiaz Ali of GDC Paloura Jammu stood runners-up. E-Certificates were given to the winners. |
