| Agriculture Deptt organizes Farmers Camp at Panchayats Chandak, Dana | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, July 2: A farmers camp was organized for 100 percent coverage under KCC during Kissan Pakhwada in Panchayats Chandak and Dana of Agriculture Zone Chandak.
Agriculture Extension Officer Chandak, Harvinder Singh, Agriculture Extension Assistant Sartaj Singh, Manager JK Grameen Bank and other concerned were present.
As many as 200 farmers attended the camp while 150 KCC application forms already submitted in J&K Grameen Bank Chandak were also scrutinized during the event. Nearly 16 farmers filled KCC application forms today while 10 Kissan credit cards were issued to the farmers on the spot.
In the camp, Agriculture Extension Officer Chandak made aware the farmers regarding the importance of Kissan Credit Cards. Manager J&K Grameen Bank Chandak also spoke on the occasion and assured the farmers for 100 percent saturation of eligible farmers under KCC.
