JAMMU, July 6: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded regularization of contractual lecturers under Civil Services Special Provisions Act 2010. In a statement issued here today, AAP leader and social activist Gurmeet Singh said that the Government had already regularized Adhoc/ Contractual Doctors, Range Officers, Information Officers, Instructors in Technical Education, and JEs others as per Civil Services Special Provisions Act 2010 then why 10+2 contractual lecturers have been debarred from the same right. Singh said they have given their life precious years to education department, served in far flung areas and most of the lecturers are over age, what they get after giving their life precious time to education department, disengage from the service without any reasons. He said Government could not ignore the fact that thousands of families were dependent on their breadwinners who had been disengaged from the service, Govt should immediately regularized them in the service. While some politicians had given false hopes to them, AAP will fight for the right of 10+2 contractual rights, said Gurmeet Singh |
