Jammu, July 6: All Parents Association Jammu today staged a protest against Director School Education Jammu over organized loot by the private schools in Jammu city and other districts of the province.
Over two dozen people assembled outside the directorate of School Education Jammu, Muthi and wanted to meet the Director to register their concern over the various charges including transportation being forcefully collected by the schools.
However, the director did not allow the deputation to meet her, finally infuriated over ignorance of the director, they started shouting slogans.
The angry protester over a cold response from the Director, shouted slogans against her and the Principal Secretary School Education, Dr Asgar Samoon, who taking the charge of School Education had assured many reforms in the department.
Smelling trouble, the Director called in Police to prevent the protestors’ entering in the directorate. Police took them in custody, and later they were freed them.
