ABRSM organizes ‘GuruVandan’ programme | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 6 : "Guru is a symbol of unbroken mandala, the knowledge that has no beginning or no end. Today's teacher has to be the carrier of India's glorious Guru tradition." This was expressed by eminent thinker and educationist Hanuman Singh Rathore at the Guru Vandan program organized online today by Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh(ABRSM). Rathore said that the Guru tradition of India has been in continuation since time immemorial. The disciple was prepared well for both materialistic and spiritual life under the guidance of the Guru, the goal of this tradition being the perfection of knowledge. In the recent times, we have forgotten it and hence it is a day of self-reflection for both the students and the teachers. Presiding over the program, ABRSM President JP Singhal said that the Mahasangh is working on the organization of teachers based on Indian values of life. |
