| Delegation of BVM calls on MD JPDCL, raises issue of power shortage | | |

Jammu, July 17: A delegation of Bishnah Vikas Manch met MD JPDCL Jasha Mudgal today on the issue of huge power shortage in their area. The delegation was led by General Secretary of Bishnah Vikas Manch, Sandeep Magotra and Advocate Nitish Sharma. They apprised the MD about the power situation of Bishnah. They said that prolonged power cuts have become a big problem for the people of Bishnah. They requested the MD to resolve the issue.
On this occasion, delegation told that a feeder of electricity which goes to Bishnah and Chuck Hansla is also not working properly, so we want separate feeders for both of them to get of rid of the electricity shortage problem.
They further informed the MD that the 6.3 MW transformer at Bishnah Power Station, has been put to use till date and demanded to start its functioning, which will decrease the problem to some extent. The members who were present on the occasion included Sandeep Sharma, Shammi Khajuria Bunty Sambhyal and Gulshan Kumar. |
