| NAUP condemns ration distribution after biometric vertification | | |

Jammu, July 18: The activists of National Awami United party (NAUP) condemned the CAPD department's move for distribution of ration at fair price shops through biometric system.
While talking to the media persons Karanjeet informed that the department of consumer and Public distribution has started distribution of ration through biometric process is not good during this pandemic period.
The administration is not only playing with the lives of common public but also allowing them to get infected with coronavirus disease, recently various ration dealers of fair Price Shops in different areas of the Jammu not distribution ration without biometric process and there are huge number of rush outside the fair price shops for getting registration under biometric process.
Due to this adminstration's move Common public is suffering a lot. He further appealed Lieutenant Governor to take this matter very seriously because this is not an appropriate time to start biometric distribution of ration supply among the common masses, the union territory administration should not allow any kind of heavy rush outside the fair price ration distribution shops otherwise there will be huge loss and the coronavirus cases will increase more and the situation will not be in control if this process of biometric will not be stopped.
