| JMC Mayor starts construction work of deep drain | | |

Jammu, July 18: Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chander Mohan Gupta accompanied by Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor of JMC and Ajay Gupta Councilor of ward no.52 kick started the construction work of deep drain at Mohalla Royal enclave Extn. Trikuta Nagar of ward no.52.
Sanjay Gupta (Cashier Sanatan Dharam Sabha), Nitin Thapa, Amit Singh, Anil Gupta , Rakesh Singh, Deepu Kumar prominent inhabitants of the Mohalla alongwith others were present on the occasion.
Mayor told that this was the long pending demand of the inhabitants of this particular area and Councilor of the ward have put great efforts in getting the execution work of this development work sanctioned from the department. Mayor told that construction of the deep drain will be executed at the estimate cost of Rs. 12.00 lakh and directed the concerned engineering wing to complete the work with good quality material, upto to the satisfaction of councilor as well as locals and within the stipulated time period. |
