Jammu, July 18: Jammu Diary-the Socio-Cultural Literary Trust telecasted the documentary on the life and times of the legendary Dogra Leader, Girdhari Lal Dogra on his 105 th Birth Anniversary and paid rich tribute to the great leader. In this fifteen minute documentary , the role of Dogra the mass leader of Jammu was highlighted. His human values grounded in the Duggar culture were discussed. It was underlined how he brought the Duggar cause to the centre stage of the national consciousness.
He brought the Duggar issues in the national domain and that is why he was part of the legacy of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir’s many big decisions that were taken after independence to integrate the state with the Indian nation.
The documentary has been highly appreciated by thousands of followers and viewers on the Jammu Diary you tube page.The intention behind such documentaries is to document the socio-cultural legacy of Jammu and preserve it for the present and coming generations so that they can know the contribution of people and personalities from Jammu in the national mainstream.
