AJKLTF hails DSE Jammu’s efforts for digitization of education | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 10: All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) J&K UT affiliated with Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) in a press release hailed Director School Education Jammu for proactive role and innovative attitude for Digitization of education to reach out to the students during the closure of schools due to outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic. In a press release issued by Dev Raj Thakur President and Rattan Sharma General Secretary of AJKLTF J&K UT said that DSE Jammu pioneered the concept of Home classes and started with WhatsApp groups of Volunteer content developers in early April but now a well established School Education Quality Management Cell(SEQM cell ) headed by a Nodal officer and consisting of Subject Nodal officers at Directorate level is playing a crucial role to carry on the process of online classes. AJKLTF in the press release also praised the weekly home assignments consisting of Activity Based Projects about Practical Science,Cultural education,Fit India programme,Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat,Atma Nirbhar Bharat programmes etc.For effective implementation and online access, IT wing of DSEJ developed Anroid app providing online access to home assignments, Online assessment and digital library etc. which is again a praiseworthy effort by DSE Jammu.
