| HISI conducts sanitization drive | | |

Jammu, Aug 10: Door to door sanitization and awareness drive was carried out under the supervision of Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman- Healthy India Stronger India (HISI). First phase of the drive started today at ward no. 1, Panjtirthi, in which gates of residences, interiors of streets, by lanes and parks were covered. Sanitizers were distributed to all the people who were walking on streets; they were told about the need and importance of right kind of hand sanitization. Demonstration of key factors related to hand sanitization were also carried out. Masks and gloves were distributed to all people who were not wearing masks, people were taught about the right way of wearing masks. Hira Lal Abrol and his team made people aware about the precautions like hand sanitization, wearing masks, maintaining social distancing that are to be done to fight against this pandemic. The team chanted the slogan “2 gaj ki doori, hai bahut zaroori”. People of the area showed lot of enthusiasm and expressed their gratitude to the NGO for coming up to the people in hour of need. Some of them were curious to know about the schemes that Healthy India Stronger India has launched for the needy people. S. Dalbeer Singh, Ex Principal; S. Paramjit Singh; Raj Kumar; Brij Mohan; Ramneek Sharma and Akhil Sharma were present during the occasion. |
