Jammu, Aug 21: Government Degree College (GDC) Akhnoor conducted an online survey on National Education Policy, 2020 under the guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Namarta. The objective of the survey was to know the perception of different educational stakeholders towards National Education Policy, 2020. The survey was conducted online through Google forms. Academicians from universities, Colleges, Higher secondary & Schools had taken part in the survey. Research Scholars, Social Activist and Senior Citizens also participated in the survey. In the survey, participants were asked to share their views and suggestions on National Education Policy, 2020. The views of the respondents were varying from one another. According to the survey, 12.5% participants were strongly agreed and 75 % participants were agreed with the NEP, 2020. On the other hand, 10% participants were indecisive and 2.5% participants were disagreed with National Education Policy, 2020. According to the results, NEP 2020 has revamped the whole education system in our country. It leads to a progressive change, but it requires a huge coordination and cooperation for proper implementation in all its aspects. It will definitely address the present and future needs of both the teacher and taught, but it must have a practical utility and a mechanism should be developed for its effective implementation at different levels of education. |
