| POKRWS welcomes decision to grant domicile certificates too refugees | | |

Jammu, Aug 21: The Muzaffarabad ( POK) Refugees Welfare Society (POKRWS), Punjab has welcomed the decision of Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir to issue domicile certificates to displaced families of POJK 1947 including all the 5300 DPs residing in other states of India. Although the condition of prior Registration of 5300 outsider displaced families with Relief Commissioner (Migrant) appears to be unneeded and could have been avoided because all these families were already registered with government department of J&K named Provincial Rehabilitation Office and Ex-gratia amount was also distributed under these registration numbers. However, fresh registration is also welcomed, Society members said. |
