| Police found dead body of jilted lover | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Aug 21: Police found the dead body of a jilted lover who was missing after slitting the throat of his cousin sister in Bhunzwah area of Kishtwar District. As per the details available with Early Times, Police today found the dead body of Suret Singh, who was missing since August 4 after assaulting his cousin sister and escaped from the spot.
It was believed that he had committed the suicide by jumping into the river on the very same day and his body was recovered from the river Chenab near Machipal Thatri. People noticed the dead body in the river and brought the matter into the notice of police who immediately rushed to the spot and retrieved the dead body from water.
The body was later identified as that of missing accused wanted by the Kishtwar police. |
